Collections

Collections provide a way to organize related questions within a question bank. A collection is simply a named group of questions that belong to the same question bank.

Collections are useful when you want to organize questions by chapter, unit, topic, learning outcome, exam preparation set, review set, or any other grouping that makes sense for your workflow.

A question bank may contain zero, one, or many collections. Questions can belong to a collection while still remaining part of the original question bank.

Creating a Collection

To create a new collection:

1. Open the Question Bank window.
2. Select the desired question bank.
3. Click the New Collection button.
4. Enter a name for the collection.
5. Click OK.

The new collection will appear in the collection list for the selected question bank.

Adding Questions to a Collection

To add questions to an existing collection:

1. Open the Question Bank window.
2. Select the desired question bank.
3. Select the collection you want to modify. The collection question list will be displayed.
4. In the question list, select one or more questions.
5. Click the Add To Collection button located above the question list.

The selected questions will be added to the collection.

Adding Questions Using Drag and Drop

Questions can also be added to a collection using drag and drop:

1. Open the Question Bank window.
2. Select the desired collection so that the collection question list is visible.
3. Select one or more questions in the question list.
4. Drag the selected questions from the question list and drop them onto the collection question list.

The dropped questions will be added to the collection.

Notes

• Collections do not create copies of questions.
• A question remains part of its original question bank.
• Collections provide an additional way to organize and locate related questions.
• A question may belong to multiple collections if desired.
