PrimeExam includes a built-in feedback system that allows you to communicate directly with the development team.
Whether you have discovered a bug, have a suggestion for a new feature, or simply want to tell us about your experience using PrimeExam, we encourage you to send us your feedback.
Your comments help improve PrimeExam for everyone.
Opening the Feedback Window
To submit feedback:
- Click Submit Feedback.
The Feedback window allows you to describe your comments and, if desired, include diagnostic information to help investigate problems.
What to Submit
We welcome all types of feedback, including:
- Software bugs and errors
- Unexpected program behavior
- Suggestions for new features
- Requests for improvements
- User interface suggestions
- Performance issues
- General comments and recommendations
Even if you are unsure whether something is a bug, we would rather hear about it than have the problem go unreported.
Writing a Good Feedback Report
The most useful reports clearly describe the problem.
Whenever possible, include:
- What you were trying to accomplish.
- The steps that led to the problem.
- What happened.
- What you expected to happen.
- Whether the problem can be reproduced consistently.
The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to investigate the issue.
Diagnostic Information
PrimeExam can optionally include diagnostic log information with your feedback submission.
These logs often make it much easier to identify and correct problems.
If you have concerns about the contents of the log, you may review it before submitting your feedback.
After Submitting Feedback
Each feedback submission is assigned a unique Reference ID.
This reference identifies your submission and allows you to check its progress later.
Please keep the Reference ID if you think you may need to contact us again regarding the same issue.
Checking Feedback Status
To check the status of a previously submitted report:
- Click Feedback Status at the top of the main window.
The status page displays:
- Submission date and time.
- Current status.
- Any response from the development team.
- The conversation history associated with the feedback.
Providing Additional Information
If the development team requests additional information, you do not need to create a new feedback report.
Instead:
- Open Feedback Status.
- Locate the appropriate feedback submission.
- Click Respond.
- Enter the requested information and submit your reply.
Your response is added to the existing conversation using the same Reference ID, making it easier to keep all discussion related to the issue together.
How Feedback Is Prioritized
Every feedback submission is reviewed.
When deciding what to work on next, we consider factors such as:
- Severity of the problem.
- Number of users affected.
- Impact on usability.
- Availability of workarounds.
- Overall benefit to PrimeExam users.
Critical bugs are generally addressed before feature requests, although both are carefully considered.
Thank You
Your feedback plays an important role in the continued development of PrimeExam.
Whether you report a bug, suggest a new feature, or simply share your experience, your input helps make PrimeExam a better product for everyone.
