After an exam has been published, PrimeExam provides two ways to work with the published files.
The method you choose depends on whether you want to review the contents of an exam or manage the published exam files.
Reviewing Published Exams
The Review tab is intended for viewing published exams and answer keys.
From the Review tab you can:
- Browse previously published exams.
- View HTML versions of published exams.
- View PDF versions of published exams.
- View HTML and PDF answer keys.
- Print published exams and answer keys.
The Review tab provides a browser-like interface for navigating through the files generated during publishing.
For complete instructions, see Review Exams.
Managing Published Exams
The Published tab is used to manage previously published exam sets.
From the Published tab you can:
- View a published exam.
- Print a published exam.
- Print answer keys.
- Copy published exam files to another folder.
- Remove published HTML and PDF files.
- Delete and restore published exam records.
The Published tab is intended for organizing and maintaining published exams after they have been created.
For complete instructions, see Manage Previous Exams.
Which Tab Should I Use?
Use the Review tab when you want to examine or print the contents of a published exam.
Use the Published tab when you want to organize, copy, or remove published exam files, or manage the list of previously published exams.
The two tabs work together:
- The Published tab manages published exam records.
- The Review tab displays the published files associated with those records.
